Development issue with c1pro 7 and Canon 5d mark III RAW
Hello. I'm desapointed by some processed pictures in capture one pro 7 of my photographs.
There is green cast area in skin areas close to dark areas that beat the skins of my models, in fingers, foreheads close to hair that does NOT appear in the same files processed in Adobe Camera raw.
Anyone had the same issue ?
Any advise from the staff ? Does the developper team is aware of this ?
here 482 k Zip archive with screenshot sample from the same part of the picture processed in Adobe Camera Raw 8 [CS6] and Captureone pro 7.

I have general colour issues with my Nikon D800 in CO. I'm not seeing the same problem you have. Could it be an issue with your display profile ? I have seen similar issues to your before on the Adobe forums and it has often been a bad icc profile. Are you using v4 profile? if so try a v2. Recalibrating is just something to try anyway. 0 -
Hello, it's not about bad screen calibration. It's in the file itself the image is affected. It appear on three different computer. Mac book Pro, and 2 Powermac with Quatographic displays calibrated. It's not a visual perception, it has to be retouched to vanish. Working color space is eci-rgbv2 wider than adobe one to, better for my pictures to my taste. 0 -

Hi Christophe,
What version of CO are you running ?
Do you run OpenCL on or off ?
Your quickest way to a fix or work-around is to provide your raw-file with the settings from the Capture One folder in a Support case. Then we can take a deeper look.0 -
There is nowhere in the preferences any checkbox about running OpenCL. That's the first time I was told about this on a mac book pro 15' with snow Leopard
As I said, CO is 7.14 build 92
Chr
And, no, it's not about any color management icc profile you choose to render the file. Even with AdobeRGB1998 icc profile choosen when processing, the issue occur. I may explain not right or you did not look at the sample pics, the cast is not over the file, some color shift appear locally as a color leaks on another.0 -
I looked at the sample pics but thought may have been screen captures hence my reference to icc profiles as I have seen that cause issues very similar to those in the past. It looks like it is not icc profiles though if it is on multiple machines.
as for Open CL, more info here

and here

switching off Open CL can help with issues sometimes.0 -

Please create the support-case and provide the file. It will be hard to troubleshoot without the file and its settings.0 -
Here is the content of the support mail I sent today on behalf of Christian GR at forum discussion,[http://forum.phaseone.com/En/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=15357&p=71745#p71745] Please find the cr raw file [one of the file that get issue when processing in C1pro7] with the issue described on forum :

There is green cast area in skin areas close to dark areas that beat the skins of my models as leaking, in fingers for example in the center of the picture, on other images processed, the symptom appaering also on foreheads close to hair that does NOT appear in the same files processed in Adobe Camera raw.

These color shifts localized DOES NOT appear when the files are processed on other softwares like photoshop camera raw plugin.
Example of processing in dxo attached too and also Photoshop : no color shifts in the hands
I nailed in red places where this happens. Please refer to the file named "_L0A2874-c1pro7-Nailed'
files attached are also here :

3 processing Adobe Camera Raw, dxo pro 8 and C1pro7
No matter with the different rendering of the same file by different softwares, I dont have the time to match them to the setting I've done with confidence and lot of time dedicated to Capture one pro. rendering is not important and not the question. Color leaking [green in this case] matter to me...
FYI Case number Christian GR is 133577

Hi, you need to include the settings as well. I loaded picture your picture into CO, but get no greenish cast in your pictures.0 -
