Capture 6.4.2 Rock Solid

Hi List

I have been using the latest version of C0 6.4.2 on my MacPro running OS 10.7.4 and I noticed that the latest version is completely stable.
My observation is using tethered with Nikon D3x and D800E (with workaround) my cameras are staying connected all day, no captures stalling halfway through transfer and no spinning beachball..
Has anyone else noticed that the stress of shooting tethered with Nikons has suddenly become a pleasure !

I'm not sure if this is more stability with the Mac OS or updates with C0v6 ?

  I don't tether, and I'm a Win 7 user, but overall I share your experience - Cap One is entirely bomb-proof on my machine.

  Amen to that brother. Shot all day yesterday without so much as a hiccup AND for the first time ever, my Canon 1Dii vertical images auto rotated! Hot Damn, I am one happy camper!

  On my machine (2008 MacPro 8Core) this is the least stable and slowest version since ca. 5.0.

  I would suggest that you create a support case as what you have described does not coincide with the statistics.

  It works way better if i use smaller sessions. I also deleted the preferences and its a bit snappier now.

  6.4.3 is a big improvement for me. Much faster now 😄
