For what it's worth i had the same problem as you with leopard support from Phase, and gave up after experiencing the complete lack of forthcoming information as to a release of the pro software.
I run a studio and can't hang around for Phase to 'maybe' come up with a relevant pro version of their software and the Leaf system is just as good, if not better than the Phase One set up.
    The fact is this :
Leaf works with Apple's modern operating system.
Capture One is unstable therefor unreliable.
Clients don't care what camera/software/computer you have.
If you rely on these systems to make money, choose the one that works and don't look back.
If you think capture one is worth it, then wait. (and then wait some more!)

    Hi Alun,

There are different reasons why Capture One may not start up. With a Digital Back and leopard you should not encounter too many issues beyond the cf card and installer bug on leopard. I myself am running leopard / 3.7.7 pro tethering to all of our backs quite successfully.

Try deleting your preferences and batch queue. the batch queue is located as User Library/Application Support/Phase One/Batch Queue. Just delete the whole folder.

Prefs: goto User Library/Preferences and delete anything starting in com.phaseone.

    You may also try re-installing.

If this does not solve your issue pleas create a support case.
