Problem with moving files from Capture to Select Folder

I have a problem with moving pictures from Capture to Select folders: Images are imported & sorted using the Image Date tag into Capture folder. The automatically created All Images & Untitled Album albums are created and showed all images. If I tagged some images & create a smart album, they all show ok. No problem so far.

I then moved the tagged images to the Select folder. After the move, both All Images, Untitled Album shows these as Offline. The smart album I created shows duplicates: for each image, one is showing ok, the other (original prior to move) shows offline.

I tried to move these images by dragging them into the Select Folder in the Session Folders section or Systems Folders, and I also tried using the command-J (Move All Variants to Selects Folder) command. All result in same thing. What am I doing wrong?

P.S. This is with version 10.0.1

    You don't drag images to the selects album. Select an image in another album or collection. Right click on the image, click "Add to Selects Album". The image should then also appear in the album designated as the the Selects Album.

    When right click, the closest I see is "Move to Select Folders". Tried that & same result... The preview disappeared & became a black image with a ? mark saying file is offline ☹️

    Well... I "solved" the problem by creating a new Session then import all the pictures with adjustment into it. Now I can move them into Select & if needed Output folders. Untitled Album, Smart Albums & All Images are showing the right images.

    So... there is a DB corruption somehow.

    The DB seems very fragile - this is not the 1st time I had a DB corruption. Another time after outputting some images to a specific folder, somehow All Images (& only that album) decided to point there & start displaying everything in that folder (instead of the Session). There is no way for me to reset that so again delete-n-re-create Session.
