C1 7.1.1 and OS X 10.6.8 or 10.7.5

Wondering how user experiences are with the latest version of C1 on 10.6.8 or 10.7.5? We have an older machine that we can't upgrade to 10.8 (Mac Pro 2,1 with SSD and 24GB RAM). Just waiting for a new Mac Pro to be announced before we do an upgrade but in the meanwhile need to upgrade from C1 v5.2.1 to 7.1.1 and wondering how people find it under 10.6.8 or 10.7.5.

    There are quite some posts here regarding running CO7 on either 10.6.8 or later OS X functions. I would prefer 10.7.5 for your system. I do not expect much advantages or disadvantage of one over the other. I feel CO7 is written more towards 10.7.x and 10.8.x then 10.6.8.

    The advantage of 10.7.5 is a more recent OS X version, if that makes any difference for you.
