Cannot Develop image [Solved]
I am getting the error message : "Cannot Develop Image" when I am working out of old C1 6 directory, If I start a new session in a folder that has not been previously processed by C1 6 it develops OK. What is it that is preventing C1 7 from printing out of these C1 6 folders???. I am hoping that I do not have to delete the old C16 folder and start all over from scratch to process my older RAW files.
Thanks Mike
So far everything else looks and feels great, looking forward to working with C1 7

Well looks like I figured this one out myself, rather than delete it I thought I'd leave it in case someone else has a similar problem. It would appear that C1 does not like 2 instances of the software running at once, if I have C1 6 either running or even being opened then closed to the same directory C1 7 was running in, I had to close C1 7 and restart it and all was fine. I fluked on it because some keystrokes stopped working so I restarted the program all was fine until I started C1 6 for comparison again.
Oh well ..... all is well now ... Awesome software you guys ... Thanks

Indeed as the software's share resources. It's best to run either/or.0 -
I can develop RAW files into TIFF's or JPEG using v7, from a new session or even an existing session made in v6; it works.
When loading an existing session (from v6) into v7 it is creating a new session file named "xxxx.cosessiondb" but leaving the old session file "xxx.col50" untouched.
BUT: I noticed that the original RAW-file ("file.NEF") within the new session and after exporting was actually changed into a file "file.eip" and the original RAW-file is gone! Don't know if this is good or bad at this time (I thought that it is a priciple to never ever change in the original Raw-file....) --->PhaseOne comments welcome!!!
I have de-installed C1 6.4.4 before installing v7 however.
Great performance jump and some of the tools as far as I have seen so far are just superb (HDR, local adjustments, etc.)0
