Relocating files - speed
In restoring or moving my catalog and its referenced files from one computer to another, in OS 10.11, I could just move them to a drive of the same name, and Capture One could locate the referenced files. With OS 10.13.2, I have found the location the referenced files is lost and I have to re-locate the referenced files. In Aperture, relocating files was nearly instantaneous, but Capture One has to look at each file as it relocates and this takes a fair bit of time. I have not been able to find a functional way of relocating the files, such as just renaming the drive name from within Capture One.
Is there any way to quickly relocate referenced files if the only change is to the drive location?

Don't know but don't think so.
Been there many times and eventually got to a point that it wouldn't recompose the catalog. Folders would be located and then go missing again after closing CO. Gave up in the end and been scavenging the remains of the catalog with sessions since.
Sessions have their quirks too, but are quite reliable to me. (windows user)0
