    I was having the same problem and solved it by NOT creating or loading a saved workspace. Similar solution given here for crashes: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=13558 Modifying the default workspace seems ok but it's the using of a saved workspace (even a new one created in C17 ) and then closing the app and reopening it the app the processing fails do do anything. BTW my event log indicated C17 could not load a profile. LOAD ERROR
