systems 7.0.2 will run satisfactorily on
Running mid 2011 27inch iMac
16GB RAM
3.4GHz quad-core i7
AMD Radeon HD 6970M with 2GB GDDR5
I have clean installed, Apple have clean installed and tested and still 7.0.2 is unusable for me. Phase one support have described my system as robust, but that's not helping me much.
I can start out working on a pic and things work normally, but within a very short time sliders won't slide, drop downs don't, masks have huge delays, colour readouts don't appear or can't be moved. In fact it is totally unusable.
My question to the group is: am I expecting too much or is anyone else able to work in v7.0.2 on a system like mine.
I have an open support case and yes, open CL is off
Thanks

Have you tried working in a completely new session with new images? I have seen what you are describing when a session could be corrupt or not setup correctly. Are you working on an internal drive? Have you verified your current working session through File > Verify Catalogs or Session? 0 -
Hi
I have just verified the session as you suggested and I think you are a genius - I have just processed a file with 5 layers - sliders moving beautifully, masking like a charm. I think you may well have saved my sanity. I shall keep fingers crossed that my problems are now all solved.
I will post again to update, because I guess there are others experiencing the same issues.
Thanks again
