At the top you will see \"I\" Information icon: Show capture information with thumbnail Click this icon to display.

Under Collection pulldown you can also select Show Meta Data or key Ctrl + I

Keith,

This shows the metadata next to the thumbnail on the collection (left side), not under the histogram when the 'capture' tab is chosen (right side).

I also would like to know why the metadata is not longer under the histogram. It was extremely convenient. I'm tempted to go back to the previous version. Can anything be done about this or is there a way to show the data under the histogram like it was before?

But if you do like Keith say the Meta Data is now shown in a floating window.
You can place this window in the lower right corner and have the meta data visible independent of which tab you are curently in.

gnordstrom is right with the floating window and why meta data window is not on the right side is to make room for tethered operation features.

I'm a C1/LE user who migrated from C1/Rebel to C1/LE last year, and I'm surprised that there aren't more user complaints about the deletion of metadata from the Capture tab. I really don't understand the previous responses about tethered operation - what I see in my Capture tab is a vast wasteland under the \"Exposure evaluation\" histogram that used to have a very useful and easy-to-digest display of metadata from the RAW shot.

I used this tab all the time to review exposure info, date of image capture, etc., and I do not like the floating info over the thumbnails. Please restore the feature that was available in all previous versions of CaptureOne software.
