Hey Ulf,
could you please tell me what "in the pipeline" means ? Will it be more like "3-4 weeks" or more like "4-6 months" ? I am just curious because like many new D90 owners I have to decide whether I have to get another RAW converter - or if I just have to survive for a short time using the terrible Nikon View software
Thanks

I have now a confirmation that D90 (and D700) will be included in Capture One 4.5 which is scheduled to be released the 15th of October. 0 -
I have a workflow n00b question.
I'm relatively new to workflow and have purchased and been using Capture One for a few months now with my Nikon D80. I was reading about Adobe Lightroom 2 due to my interest in the ability to scale a multi-monitor setup (2 monitors). I really like the feature and think it would be a GREAT add to the future version of Capture One.
On to my question:
I recently purchased a Nikon D90 and cannot open RAW images in Capture One, or Adobe Lightroom 2 for that matter (the only thing that works is the Nikon Capture NX 2 software). I understand the next version of Capture One, set for release October 15, will support D90 files. What I found is if I select all my .NEF files, right click (PC), and change the details from D90 to read as D80 I am able to open the .NEF files in Capture One 4.1.2. Am I loosing anything by doing this, other than some pride in the actual body model being in the details of my end image product, and processing my RAW images taken with my D90 inside of Capture One 4.1.2???
Thank you,

Since the D80 and D90 are very different cameras with Different CMOS, the results in C1 will be less the accurate. When we add support for a camera we take into account the qualities of each cameras individual CMOS as well as in camera AD conversion. From there we also create specific color profiles. You may want to try converting the raw files to DNG and see how they process differently in C1. Of course 4.5 is just around the corner so the solution is very temporary! 0
