Mac to Windows
Been using Aperture for over a decade on my Mac. I'm trying to move to Capture One on a windows machine which does not have Aperture installed on it. I copied my Aperture Library to an external drive and connect this drive to the Windows machine but C1 trial does not give me an option to import the Aperture Library (file - import - import catalog - another catalog). Everything I've read says that his path should give me an option for "import Aperture" which I'm not seeing. Is this because Aperture is not installed on my Windows machine? How do I get this Aperture Library imported? It's 225Gig's of RAW files.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Really no one can provide any assistance?
I can't be the only person to experience this?
I really like Capture One however I was under the impression I could import my Aperture library?0 -

Well, I would be delighted to help you but I suspect that as I, like most long time Windows users, have no experience of Aperture or Macs someone ho has tried what you are trying to do may be a rare find. I think most people tend to head in the opposite direction, though personally I don't understand why.
I would suggest that you create a Support Case to check what you might expect to be able to achieve by talking with the Capture One crew directly.
Alternatively do you have the option to tidy up the Aperture catalog and convert it on a Mac and then move it to Windows?

The Aperture Importer is only made for CO Mac, as Aperture only works on Mac.
The easiest way to move your files to Windows will be to do the Aperture import on mac, then move the CO catalog to a Windows machine, and locate the files again.0
