Regenerate previews on selected images
Hi,
Is it possible to regenerate previews just on selected images and not on the whole session images ? And particularly on the output folder because the rendering is not "right" in C1 but ok in photoshop or in the finder for example ?
Thanks

Use the 'Select' cursor, right click on the image in the Viewer, choose 'Regenerate Preview'

Thank you.
I have another preview issue in the output folder of the session, the preview is cropped (??) in C1P but it's ok in the finder see attached screen captures, you have to open them in a new window or tab in order to see the whole image.

Sorry... I'm not clear as to what you are trying to show me. 0 -
Hi,
This is the same image in both screen captures but in C1Pro the preview image is displayed cropped (??) and the same image in the finder is whole / right this is why i attached the 2 screen captures. In order to view the screen captures whole you need to open them in a new tab / window of the browser.0 -
I had to edit the files you uploaded. They were to big.
Please create a support case and provide the TIF. I'll let you know what the cause is.0 -
I think i know why the image show "cropped" in C1, it's because i edited the TIF output image in photoshop to increase the canvas size and overwrite the original C1 TIF output image. So C1 show the new edited image (7360 × 7360 pixels) with the viewport / size of the original output image (3730x7360 pixels)...
I tried to regenerate the preview for this image but it doesn't work, i think C1 before displaying the output image doesn't check if the file has been modified (in the capture folder of the session) by another application and keep the original size of the output process in cache / memory (?).0 -
Nico,
I would not expect edit file that you have created in C1 to even consider whether or not you have suddenly changed the source file to something else. That would not be considered to be a non-destructive workflow.
In addition the original edit file is likely to be obsolete and not just because the size has changed.
My suggestion would be to use C1 to change the file size - you can process it to be up to 200% of the start size without leaving C1. Make a new file and then either a new edit or copy the original edits to the new files but probably excluding (or later changing) any crop information. Use a different name. When happy that all is well, delete the original smaller file if you feel a need to do so.
If you want to make the image bigger again you can repeat the process (up to whatever limit there may be).
HTH.

Thank you Grant for your answer.
But i don't want to up-size my image i just want to add more (white) background on the width of the image and i don't know how to do it in C1. In photoshop i just increase the canvas size with white color, i don't (up-)resize the image.0 -

Ok, but then the question is "What further purpose do you have for it using C1?"
Is it just to use C1 as the DAM for the file?
Personally I would still treat it as a new file if you feel you must see it C1 - with a new name.
But you may have some other purpose that I have not thought of and it would be interesting to hear about that.
