Tethered folder canon 5d mark III

I would like to know why when i create a new catalogue and i use teathered capture the picture inside the folder ORIGINALS are inside at subfolders ( that is the date subdivise in subfolders) but when i choose another folder into hd the picture are not in subfolder. I would like havent a date subfolder into folder ORIGINAL how its possible? Thk
