Can't enter the source path manually when importing images?

First time user of Capture One and have a quick question.

I've encountered a minor annoyance when importing images. The dialog that pops up when importing images doesn't allow you to enter the source path manually. I store my images in various shares on my NAS drive. Strangely, it doesn't always show up when browsing for it via the Network icon, so I usually enter the path manually, which I find quicker either way. I'd prefer not to map a drive letter to each share. When creating a new catalogue in Capture One, you can enter a destination path manually but for some odd reason you are forced to browse for a folder when importing images, with no option to enter a path manually.

Is there something I'm missing? Any way around this other than mapping network shares? If it is an oversight, hopefully the developers will correct this, as I can see it being quite frustrating over the long run, at least for me!

As for my initial impression of the program so far, it seems really nice. I picked up a D600 about a month ago and have been using Lightroom 4.2 to process the RAW files. I recently heard about Capture One Pro on another site (naturalart.ca) and figured I'd give the trial a try. I'm extremely impressed by the default processing and I'm seeing an astonishing amount of additional detail (over LR4.2) with Capture One without any sharpening artifacts/noise. Very impressive.

  You could try mapping the network drive for an easier access for now.
  (Windows Explorer: Tools->"Map network drive...")

  Because of the number of shares that I'm using, that would be the last route I'd want to take, though it sounds like that's what I'll have to do for now.
  
  Is there a way to request that feature/enhancement? It'd be great if the next minor update allowed for manually specifying a UNC path when importing images. It should be relatively trivial to implement.

  The recommended way to request changes is to create a support case which will result in the suggestion being visible in the support systems.
  
  There is a sticky post somewhere in the forums, iirc, that provides details and a link. Failing that just go to the support pages and you should find what you need to create a Support Case in there.
