I tried searching for "tag" but I think it's too broad...

Does CO support "tagging" files? I know that I can use Star/Color ratings...but my workflow for the past 8 years has me TAGGING images that the client likes. Then we review (compare) JUST those TAGGED images. Those images are star rated and the final images are color+star rated. So at the end of the day I end up with my "hero" shots that are "5-Star+Green"...but I really need to tag the initial files to make this efficient.

You could consider using one of the colors as your tag?

CO currently only has these two forms of tagging (stars and colors). You could of course also use the keywords and so on.

Ok. I guess I'll have to use 1 star as my tag and 2-5 stars as my rating.

...which will mean that once you rate an image it will no longer be tagged.

If you are using sessions you might consider the files in the Selects folder as tagged.

If you are using a catalog you can create a user collection for your purpose of tagging.

Or you could just use a keyword to mean "tagged".
