I feel like I'm probably missing something simple here but I don't see it. I've used the local adjustment brush before in both C1 6 and 7. But in both 6 and 7 sometimes it stops working and nothing I can do gets it working again! As in … I create a layer, draw a mask … and then nothing gets marked for local adjustment. If I change exposure it still changes the whole photo, color, anything. No little "local adjustment" icon appears. What am I missing?

Please check that your opacity isnt set to something close to 0.

Use the tools, like Exposure, from the Local Adjustments tool tab, not from the regular tool tabs.

also check you have the layer selected and not the Background.

    Hi Phase guys ...

I have the same problem .... The local Adjustment does not work !!
I have the opacity at 100%, changing the expose the same way I had always did in C1Pro 6. But does not work !!
that makes me very said !! it is such a basic future on C1pro 6 ..... and is not working on 7 !!!
Please have this solve ASASP !!!
It makes me very mad to get a new product that have so many BUGs !!

Here it is my Specs: Macbook Pro 2.2ghz Intel Core i7
    Memory 16gb.

    Thanks.

Are you in the Local Adjustments Tab ? You can only correct parameters from here as default.

However, you can change this behavior so it is global like in CO 6.
