Is there a trial/demo? And- why solicit/ignore user's input?
Since I don't use the Capture One software, I don't see a lot of reason to move to this version, which seems to be the same app in a differently-styled user interface (yes I know: large catalogs etc).
I'd like to try it out before buying. Is this possible? Can't find a link.
In all honesty, it's very hard for me to accept that users' input was solicited for improvements and bug fixes for this release, and then to learn that 99% of said input was apparently ignored.

Just download the software and install. It will give you a 30-day trial from first start. 0 -

Rest assured user input was a big part of this rebuild. Not all of it was implemented to be sure as we were first addressing the bigger issues. We'll start with the big picture and then work our way down so please feel free to try the software for 30 days and give us suggestions through the support system, we'll pass them along and in the updates to come you may be surprised at what you find 😉0 -

Its no small task to convert another companies software into your own coding, licensing, reporting, etc as well as fix old bugs... Just because some suggestions have not appeared yet does not mean they will not in the future 😉0 -

What they really mean is that those user-requested improvements will be slowly added on a timetable that coincides with paid updates. 😂0
