From what I see in your settings, you have two things wrong. In CS2 change the Euro CMYK profile to Adobe 1998. These should be identicle if you want the image to come into PS looking the same as CO. If you are outputting in CMYK you can use convert to profile after bringing in the image.

Your monitor does not look like it is calibrated, if you are using the SRGB profile from PS. I would go to the control panel and then to display and see what profile your monitor is using and then apply that to CO. In the event that your monitor is not calibrated I strongly suggest you calibrate your system.

    Hi Thanks for reply...
I just end my war with photoshop ..
    I change this parameter:

    Color management Policies
    RGB:Preserve Embedded Profiles
    CMYK:Preserve Embedded Profiles
    GRAY:Preserve Embedded Profiles

and put changes like this :
    Color management Policies
    RGB:Convert to working RGB
    CMYK:of
    GRAY:of

.. now I have similar efect but still without sharpnes as I change in Capture One PRo ...

again ask.. anybody can help me step by step set the right setings ??
    P L E A S E !!! help ❗️

Run the .exe file that came with the Installer. This will set the Photoshop settings to what Phase One recommends.
See Knowledge Base article # 1996
    http://support.phaseone.com/KB/Home/Sea ... nguageID=1

Also see the recent articles regarding Color Management at the Knowledge Base at the web site under Support > Contact Support > Tech Support Questionshttp://support.phaseone.com/Global/contact_support.aspx

When you have a Session of D70 images loaded, and a Thumbnail is selected, the correct camera profile of Nikon D70 will be set from the EXIF data.

As Marty C , don't make comparisons unless you have a Calibrated Monitor and have the created profile selected in Capture One; and you are Soft Proofing in Photoshop with the exact same profile. To do otherwise would be a failed comparison.

    Jerryzielinsky,

There are several Sharpening softwares available out there and none of the settings have the exact same effect upon an image.
Amount - how much contrast between pixels
Threshold - the higher the # the LESS that is sharpened in the image
You can either sharpen in Capture One, Photoshop, or another application but comparing between is illogical on a monitor.

To truly assess sharpening results, always analyze prints.

Capture One allows you to establish Default sharpening applied to all images processed equally, to adjust using the slider tools at the Focus tab, or to process without any sharpening... how versitile is this ?

The majority of users have found Capture One to be quite intuitive and accommodating to a wide variety of workflows. The Tools can be as simple or as sophisticated as you want to make them.
This program has been built For Professional Photographers with the direct input and testing By Professional Photographers. The result has been Capture One's biggest strength in it allows for the most efficient workflow possible with the highest image quality.

    Keith, Thnx again for explain...
I don't know if I'm professional photographer or not 😊) it's no matter in this case I think,
I use Nikon Capture 4 and what I change in this Nef ( Raw) converter I have in other aplication as Photoshop or ACD and ext... but it's so slow ..... I havent time for it 😊

I can't convert my pictures and start other work with it in other aplication in form as I make it in Capture One Pro - maybe it's not exactly compatibile - or I just can't do it ! - because still don't know how ?

I try use file CMSInstaler ( setupcolors.exe) which is with download fle COP and try chance colour profile in my Photoshop - I still have not results which I would like.

I sitting few days and try - without succes,
...nobody can help me, but try - as you..
    Thanks again..
    ...it's to complicated 😊
