Tethered Troubleshooting with Windows 8.1
Since I had Windows 8.1 installed I'm having the following issues:
1 - Composition mode doesn't work: I have it on, it shows it's on but every single image is being stored on the disk
2 - The Live View window is on minimised view by default. Previously, it would show maximised, now I have to max everythime I open it
3 - I lost access to the focusing tool on Live View mode
I was able to do all those 3 things before the Windows 8.1 upgrade - I was on Windows 7 before.
I'm using a NikonD700 and a 24-120mm Nikon lens - the same kit I was using before.
Thanks

I don't think any of these are based on tethering. They all just seem to be software function errors.
Create a support case and provide us with some details. We'll be able to suggest the best way forward, likely starting with a clean uninstall/reinstall.0 -
I agree that these don't look like tethering issues. I'm having more and more problems, more tool are behaving funny by the day...I've talked to the IT team and have persuaded them to go back to Windows 7.
Just for the record, the machine was formatted, Windows 8 was installed and then CO was installed.
Many Thanks0
