C1 8 latest... counter reset when renaming
New user here so reluctant to ask stupid question with obvious answer. But can't find it discussed anywhere, so here goes. When importing images from camera or file, I try to rename those images which are located in folders within single catalog.
Would like to select starting point for counter added to basic image name (JCB_2015_ date_001) but can't figure out how to do that. The software will not allow me to select. It forces a start point of its own choosing... may be the next number in the catalog sequence.
Please enlighten me.

Hi Jim - It's not a silly question, and your confusion is a result of the Denmark design preferences ha.
In the little screen where you're setting up renaming parameters & tokens, there is a little tiny button. The icon for the button is three tiny dots. Click on that and you should have a pop-up window that gives you options to set and/or restart the sequence number.
