Auto sort

Whenever I open up my catalogue, I want it to automatically sort it with the latest at the top.
I can't seem to be able to do this, I have to constantly re-sort by capture date.
Any ideas?

  I tested this on a testcatalog of mine and MP seems to remember whatever sort option i used last.
  I tested it on catalog sets and catalog folders and i can use different sort options on different folders. MP remebered them after starting it up again. So it seems to work properly on win7 32bit?

  I'm on a Mac 10.7.3 and have just updated to MP v 1.3 and am still having the same problem where everytime I view a different folder and then go back to the previous, it resorts it the incorrect way.
  This is driving me nuts!
  Surely I'm not the only one having this problem?
  Is there a default setting that I am missing somewhere?

  At my knowledge this is not a setting but a misbehaviour of your copy of MP.
  What i would do is to drop a support call for it at Phase One...
