LE 3.7.1 Issues

I have just installed LE 3.7.1 (previously had a version at about 3.5). Noticed two things:
1) Painfully slow in creating thumbnails
2) thumbnails all look seriously overexposed, until you click on the image once with the mouse, the image shows in the middle screen, and then the thumbnail looks like a normal exposure

    Where is your Preview cache located? Other than local drive can have slowdown affect from anti-virus and firewall software.
    Are you loading old Sessions from v3.5 or brand new Sessions?
    Thumbnails and Preview files from this older version are completely rewritten for the new.

    With the Thumbnail and Exposure process, what you are seeing is simply the manner in which Capture One builds New Session. In general, here is what occurs:

    > A Preview file is created from the RAW .C1p
    > A Thumbnail/Work file is created .C1w
    > Color Management data is written to .C1w
    > these data are read by the .C1p and image is adjusted accordingly
    > Session is ready
