red and black location color coding
What happened to the feature that helped distinguish files that are present from files that are not present at a glance?! I got very used to the red/black color coding of file location in the upper left corner, this helped me to find images very quickly. I am basically happy with the new look, but this was a fundamental feature, as I see it, anyway. So far, the minor issues that I've noticed affect my workflow so much that I can't use the current version (1.0.0.49246). I do believe Phase One is a very good fit for the home of this software and am interested to see what's to come, but am immediately disappointed in the functionality of the upgrade. I am starting to regret the purchase altogether. I will continue to check for updates, but will be using a previous version in the meantime.

Did you logged a supportcall for this?
I noticed it also and indeed it was a very usefull function.

where is that missing, or to put it the other way, where was the marking exactly in EM2?
I see the filename in red above the media and thumbnail view, if the selected file is missing. Looks the same for me in EM2 and Media Pro.0 -

Maybe it's different on Apple/Windows?
I'm on Win 7, 32 bit and i experienced the same issue as you can see in this video:
