I don't want a new file name thanks!

OK I've finished adjusting and I've pressed the process button but I want to retain the file name that I gave the images before I imported them.
How do I do this?

    Retaining the file name for the processed file is the default, so I assume you have done something unwillingly. Don't have CO3/Win right here, but can you tell us more about what the output file name is and whether you have LE or Pro.

    CustomName001.jpg etc

    The folder is in library, output folder.
    I've got the LE version, can't say it's exactly intuitive though.

    I've installed the software on my 'd' drive rather than the C drive as it was hiding pics in the C drive and I keep my C drive for software only. However it still seems to make files there, why?

    I know that bit isn't to do with file numbers but I'm knackered today.

    Although you have posted in the Capture One 3 forum, I suspect you use Capture One 4. Correct me please if I am wrong.

    Based on my assumption, go to the Output tool tab (the one with the wheel, second from right), and look in the Output Naming section. In the format it says Job name and counter. Change that into Image name from the drop down list.
