    No, the seleted layer was the one where I drawn the mask.
    I have made à comparison between 2 variant with and without a skintone correction and it is obvious the tone of the lips have been modified.
    If it was possible to add an immage in the post I would show it to you

    There are 2 Color Editors. One without the paintbrush and one with. For masks, make sure you are adjusting the one with a paintbrush.

    The one without the paintbrush applies the adjustments globally.

    BTW you can turn this effect even for color editor without paint brush go to ... menu of tool for example white balance. Note menu item Adjust Select Level setting which acts like a check box. When it enabled tool applies edits to selected layer. When not it applies to all layers. And when this is setting is on brush right to tool name appear near tool name. This feature is quite handy when you are designing your layouts. As can easely adjust behaviour of a tool, and not jump back and forth.
