TIFF File opening in camera raw?
I just installed 5.1 (under mac). Processes fine, but when I attempt to
open a 16 bit tif created in 5.1 in CS4 the file opens in Camera raw instead of the just opening into photoshop. Thus CS4 is seeing it as a raw file.
Anyone else have this problem?
All I'm doing is exporting Nikon D3 raw files to 16bit Tiff images and then using the file open dialog in photoshop. It's seeing these Tiff files as raw. Wasn't doing this prior to updating to 5.1

Thanks Nicolas
I checked that link out and there's something more occuring than that here.
I don't have any xmp files in my raw directory or in the output folder where the tiff images are located.
The only software that has seen these files since they were removed off the camera is capture one pro 5.0.1. After converting to tiff I opened photoshop and attempted to open the tiff file.
Certainly do appreciate the info and quick turn around though.

Ended up removing the cache directory and rebuilding from scratch. Everything working properly now.

Hi Lance
good to hear that you did sort it out!
What did you rebuild from scratch? C1? OS? BTW what OS are you using? X.6.2?0 -
Nicolas,
I removed the captureone sub folder from the folder that contained the raw files
and allowed C1Pro to rebuild that.
I'm running the latest version of leopard. I have not updated to snow leopard yet.
