JPEG output for TV set
Hi,
I’d like to show some of my travel pictures to my friends - on their TV set, which is a full-HD.
Now I’m wondering whether it is best to output at the TV’s resolution (which is 1920*1080) from C1 or can I use already existing higher resolution JPGs and let the TV do the downsampling?
If I produce new 1920*1080 files, are there any recommendation in terms of sharpening, contrast, white balance settings, etc?
My problem is that I can check the output files beforehand and I don’t want to present pictures that do look crappy….
Thanks in advance,
Mark

I think your TV set can downscale larger JPEG files but it is easy to make Capture One process or export to 1920 pixels wide.
I don't think you need specific adjustments but you might experiment with sharpening for example to see what you prefer.0
