Upgrade Costs

Looking at C1 as I find that Adobe and the CC thing bothersome. The upgrade math is strange.
Cost to upgrade to C1 Express 7 from C1 Basic 5 Normally $69.00 (sale 35.50)
Cost to upgrade from Capture 1 Basic 5 to Capture 1 7 Pro = $249.00
Cost to upgrade C1 Express 7 to C1 7 Pro = $99

69 (5 to 7 Express)+ 99 (7 Express to Pro) = $168 still less than $249.00 direct upgrade. Or it will be only $135 if I buy C7 Express on sale and then upgrade to Pro.

Or am I missing something??

    This figure is incorrect.
    The upgrade cost from Capture One Express 7 to Pro 7 is the same as Capture One 'Basic 5' to Capture One Pro 7.
