Save Process Recipes

Process recipes can not be saved or created in CO 4.1 AFAIK. Maybe the upcoming Pro version brings more options.

As a workaround you could use specific images and there adjustments and put them in an Album. (An Album in CO4 contains only links to the original images, not the images itself.)
With the copy/past adjustments option you can easily assign a whole set of adjustments - predefined so to speak - to any image later on.

Maybe cumbersome, maybe it saves your day. Give it a try.

The forthcoming Windows 4 PRO version should have
multiple outputs and also the Styles Feature which is Mac Pro 3.7.8 version for now.

Thanks Paul, but I don't think 'Process Recipe' is one of the options under copy/paste adjustments?

That is correct. Maybe my workaround description was not clear (can happen) or I did not understand what exactly you want to achieve. If you want to take it to a more detailed level, be my guest. Up to you.

Often overlooked and sometimes the solution for many, ...
there is the capability to Add Preset at each of the tools White Balance, Color Balance, Exposure, HDR, Sharpening, Noise
See the Down Arrow to the right-side of the Reset Adjustments button.
    Add Preset...
    Remove Preset...

    and other options.

Hope this works for you - cheers ~ kc

No, I'm aware of the presets in other menus.

What I want to save are various Process Recipes.
    eg:

    HiRes TIF-16
    Format: TIFF 16bit
    Compression: None
    ICC Profile: Adobe RGB
    Resolution: 300
    Scale: Fixed 100%
    Sharpening: unchecked
    Open With CS2

    Press JPG
    Format: JPEG
    Quality: 60
    ICC Profile: Adobe RGB
    Resolution: 150
    Scale: Fixed 100%
    Sharpening: unchecked
    Open With: None

    LoRes JPG
    Format: JPEG
    Quality: 40
    ICC Profile: sRGB
    Resolution: 72
    Scale: To Height 800px
    Sharpening: unchecked
    Open With: None

Look, I know it's not hard nor time consuming to change these settings for each use, but there is one employee at our studio who seems to find it a tad challenging so if he could just select easy to understand Saved Presets under Process Recipe (eg HiRes TIF-16; Press JPG; LoRes JPG) I'm sure it would save his day.

But the enquiry seems to be answered by Keith - not available 4.1, wait for 4 PRO.

    Thanks
