OpenCL and GeForce GTX9x0Ti issues
Dear all,
I just wanted to let you know that Capture One Pro 10 in conjunction with a MacPro equipped with GeForce GTX9x0 Ti causes the application to crash when you have your Open CL hardware acceleration enabled. I do run a GeForce GTX980Ti in my MacPro late 2010. A ticket with support is already open and it will be probably resolved (hopefully) with the next update.
For now I have disabled my hardware acceleration.
Peter

We are aware of the issue, and working on a solution, but I can't make you any promises. 0 -
Hi Christian,
I would have loved to read this in the known issues section but probably the user base with these kind of environments are too limited. Anyhow, I do really like the new features and improvements a lot and I am currently in the process of updating my catalogs and sessions.

Hi Peter and Christian,
thank you Peter for the hint. So I will wait with the upgrade to C1P 10. My cMP with a GeForce GTX980 Ti works like a champ with C1P 9. And thanks to Christian for still trying to support this (powerfull! 😉) machines/cards!

Support told me that depending the battle they are currently finding they might blacklist the GeForce graphic cards if they can't resolve the issue. I hope they find a solution for that problem.

Thank you for this information. I upgraded my cMP 2010 with new processors, RAM and a GeForce GTX980 Ti especially for Capture One Pro. So although I knew, there isn't a warranty for support in future versions I hoped - after the last great fix for GTX980 Ti - it will „last“ a little bit longer. 😉 So I am nervous and pray to the digital gods at Phase One 😊 that they can once more again prove their fantastic customer-support by supporting this old-new working horses.
Will it be helpfull to contact the support to show, that there are some more customers with this machines, or is this just annoying?
Thanks, Wolfgang
(who wants to help in this issue but don't know how. ☹️ I would give my cMP as a testing machine for some weeks to Cologne - not so far away from my home - if it would help…)0 -

Does the "issue" affect the GeForce GTX 970 (non Ti) on Windows 10 too or is it just on Mac ?0 -
Mac only 0 -
Dear all,
as Christian pointed out the issue is Mac only and that's why I put it in the Mac section here. Support told me that there might be a solution coming in the next service release. This tells me that at least the cause of the problem was found and now it just takes time to see if they can fix it. I'd be more than happy to pilot another beta software from my end.

Thanks to both of you. 0 -

OK. Let's check wether Capture One 10.0.1 solves the GTX issues on my MacPro...
I'll keep you posted.

Seems to be fixed and give my 10 minutes test the application seems to be way more responsive and faster now.
Thanks for the update.
