Just can't believe I'm using this glorious software again! Been so long and there is nothing like it. I keep pinching myself and knocking on this wooden desk.
Keep going Phase One! There must be a bunch of us who are so happy to be let back in. Bet they are too busy having fun with it to swing by for a quick "I no longer hate you and in fact love you!" Maybe this new version will work better than lithium, which many of us are surely on by now. 😄

Actually Mr Liljegren that isn't the case.
Media Pro doesn't reflect changes made in C1 8.2. So it doesn't work as advertised.
As far as the poster's particular issues, I would have to agree with you. It is a catalog and opening images from one catalog into another makes no sense.0 -

2. what is then the benefit to use Media Pro on the Mac now? .
3. why we are not getting Webinars to shows how its works ?.

4. why Apple Fotos and authors Programms can’t open the Capture One Catalog. ?

i dont use to my Work Apple Foto !
but Apple is the OS system that makes Capture One works, the benefit for my issue is only to Manage and sharing the C1 Catalog Photos inside the OSX system, most of Apps works directly in the OSX system, then it makes it easyfor for user for working with like Pages Keynote , Mail and the Spotlight.
bay the way.... now i have the ability to import Aperture and Lightroom Catalogs to C1 💡 so why not shearing Capture One Catalog for the athouers and the OSX System , then C1 can still be my main RAW Converter.0 -

Really ... i think you should take a few steps back and read a book or get some college on digital asset management. You don't seem to understand the concept and keep on bashing the tools, the vendor and basically offend all the other users here who have shared with you their insights and their detailed workflow.0 -

i am really happy to share with you some kinds of basics , if you don't understand what i am pointing and way i am writen hear i suggest you should take a shoort look on such Apps for 30€ , like Photo Dire....or Aperture... and how they works easy to user,
The only one function that i found in C1 is to export a jpg, Tiff in such folder outside the Catalog.
the second function is OPEN With or Edit With functions " which make me really confused to use .
the third and the last one is working with C1 SESSION Mode " forget it ! Performance Problem with C1 !
for me is C1 still a good RAW converter , and wish you good nice develop works,
i am wasting time here.

So yes it does work as advertised.
