Feature Request: JPEG Processing
Beside the ton of RAW images that I generate, I also frequently carry a compact camera for snapshots. My compact camera (and this seems to be true for just about every single one on the market) is unable to capture RAW files, using JPEG instead.
I would really like to be able to process (as opposed to just viewing, which works today) JPEG files in C1 Pro. I understand that some things would not be possible because the information is simply not there, but surely cropping and some basic color adjustment would be possible.
As an added benefit, I can see high-end consumers use C1 with JPEGs since it is probably the best productivity tool on the market for processing large numbers of images. More sales is good, right? 😉

platypus,
Don't forget about the Supported camera models of:
Konica Minoltas - A2 and A1
Canon Pro1, G2, G3, G5, and G6
...which are all considered Point&Shoot and certainly do capture in RAW format.
This is a popular request from users. As always, Phase One is very responsive to its customer requests and input. It is quite possible this feature will make it into future versions, but likely not before version 4.0

Keith,
you are right about these consumer cameras generating RAW files. They are not what I consider \"compact\", however. 😊
I'm glad PhaseOne is considering this for a future version!0
