I have many issues with the new forum
1) The font is difficult to read. It literally turns into "blobs of white" on a black background.
2) The gaps of underused space are way too big.
3) The feedback for file upload in service request is barely visible. Please use a well visible color, not a pale gray on a very-similar-gray.
The font chosen here should be bigger, thinner, easier to read. Background not totally black. Like... the fantastic font in the Capture One itself! Why not to use this widely liked look-and-feel?

I recently submitted a support request asking for the following changes to be made to the Zendesk configuration:
1) Make the Sort By selection sticky. It resets itself to "Newest Post" whenever the user changes sections. Newest Post is the most recent started thread, not the most recent post.
2) Allow the user to toggle the "Follow Me" selection. Having to turn them off individually to not get an inbox full is sub-optimal
3) Allow the user to make their own color selections
4) Allow quoting of other posts to allow for some user context
5) Allow users to PM each other
6) Properly utilize cookies so users don't have to log in EVERY.TIME.THEY.VISIT.Response I got, was pretty much typical, "tough luck"....
The amusing part, is the other forum I know of that uses Zendesk, netgear.com, allows the user to make a plethora of configurations to their display.
Evidently Capture One doesn't know how to set this up, or isn't interested.
cheers

I am sure they care, its the process, the man power, the priorities. Do not forget that Capture One is driven by a comparatively small company, if you measure it on a size of e.g. Adobe. And yet, this software is simply amazing! So the small things here, are just that: small things. Lets be patient, I am sure every request is being considered.

With all due respect, if they are so short handed, why migrate the forum?
The sensible thing to do would have been to lock the old forum and use the new version from that period on with the old information still available.
The migration has broken the links that emerge when an internet search is done that refers back to the original forum. Just seems like a particularly antagonistic approach with little regard for their CUSTOMER base. I capitalized that as frankly, I feel that C1 has forgotten that we are CUSTOMERS, who choose where to spend their software dollars.
I'm enjoying the fact that someone recently toggled the follow setting on for every post that I've made both here and in the entries migrated from the other forum. So now I'm getting inboxes full of messages. ANTAGONISTIC...
There is time/manpower available for this but the horrendously setup Zendesk functionality remains.
Priceless
