Two separate issues. The preview redraws after each adjustment resulting is a short period of what you called pixelation. The other issue is a Snow Leopard issue. Hope support can help you to solve this quickly.

Thanks for replying Paul. So your preview pixelates, or pixelizes, also? This is normal? This is the way C1 works? If it is, then I'll learn to live with it. It's just that I'm so used the the nice smooth transitions in Lightroom.

BUT... Only for a Quick Second.
If your images stay pixelated then you may be experiencing this issue----> http://xchange.phaseone.com/HOME/Conten ... nguageID=1

Actually, he may be referring to the Pixel Cache size I mentioned in another post. Go to Preferences and change it from the low number it is (default is 1000) to something higher. The problem is that it renders for the screen size, but then when you make an adjustment, it defaults back to the smaller preview. When you let go, it gets bigger and sharper again. Changing the preview resolution fixes that lag, depending on your monitor (Cp1 window) size.

    Bob,
That is a good suggestion, however in this case we confirmed through a support case that the issue was the confusion over the preview redraw for that one quick moment.

I am having the same problem with the pixilation but I can never get it to "clear" itself up. I have done all of the suggestions with preferences, etc.

Create a support case and we'll take a closer look.
