Session corrupted
does anyone know what to do if a session is corrupted. I have a session folder that is only 78k. Comparing it to other sessions it should be over 700k. Capture One will not open the session and crashes if I double click the session icon.
What should I do to be able to work with these files. Do I have to create a new session and import all the files into the new session. This is a whole days work with adjustments, selects folders etc having being made so I am loathed to dump it and start again but I need to process High Res tonight.
Regards, John.
CO 5.1 on Intel Mac 10.6.2
The back up is also corrupted.

John,
I think you're missing what it is the session file does. If a session becomes corrupt you lose very little, certainly not a whole days worth of work. The adjustments and physical folders will not be lost when a session file becomes corrupt, as these are separate files/folder. If a COL file (the actual session file) corrupts then you would can just recreate that session and rebuild that connection between the software and the folders themselves, it'll take all of 30 seconds. Create a support case and I can get some details to walk you through it if need be.0 -
thanks Drew, OK, I figured it out, I was thinking all the adjustments would be contained within the session folder. Looks as if the only thing I have lost are the selects folders I was working in, no big deal.
