C1 Sharpening
Having switched from shooting jpegs to shooting raw, I've noticed that
my files are now much softer. I used to set sharpening at 0 on my Canon
XT, so this tells me that there was a lot of in-camera sharpening going
on.
To compensate for the softer file, I've been adding more USM. Has anyone
determined if it's better to do all the sharpening in PP, or apply some of
the sharpening in raw? I'm just wondering if there are any quality differences
by doing some of it in the converter, or doing it all in PS. I would be interested
in recommended settings for those who do partial sharpening in C1.
All suggestions and/or comments welcome.
