    In addition, the install on my new computer does not seem to create a TIFF subfolder any longer! Anyone know how I get that option back?

    1. My guess is that you have Norton or mcafee onAceess scan enabled.
    This is the most common. But it can be as simple that you have the browse window in Capture One open and Capture One is checking if all drives are available since last time you opend up Capture One.
    2. Go to process tool. Click the second button from the right above the batch queue. Set a check mark in the checkbox \"Always process images in to the associated image folder\"
