Help on naming issues

Naming. I can't seem to have the capture start at 1. It keeps counting up, even on new sessions. Please advise on how to reset the counter without having to batch rename.

    Not obvious, but...when in the capture tool, go down to "next capture naming". There's a triangular button at the right side of the title bar (next capture naming): clicking on the button will give you a drop down menu which includes a couple of capture counter reset options. Took me a while to find it.

    Found it, thanks. How about keeping the naming and camera prefs throughout sessions? Every time I start a new session, I have to select my camera, and I have to select the naming pref. Any way to make those default or something? It's quite annoying.
