How to add a favorite folder to "Folders" for quick access?
Hi,
I have a Photo folder on my desktop and each time I have to look for it I have to click about five times on those triangles to drill down directories to the file. IS there a way to put it as a favorite so I can just click on it to access the subdirectories in that folder. Now I have to click "SSD>Users>Computername>Desktop>Photos".
Thanks.

Yes, right-click on it and choose 'Add to Favorites'. Or Edit menu > Add Folder to Favorites. 0 -
I am in my catalog and right clicked on direcotries but no right-clicking works and "Add Folder" is greyed out. 0 -
With my first reply I assumed you were working in a session. So for catalog, I suggest you hide the folders hierarchy:
In the Folders section of the Library tool, right-click any object (a folder, a disk) and choose 'Hide Folders Hierarchy'.0 -
Hi Paul,
I guess what I was hoping for was an alias that would allow easy access to a folder instead of digging through the hierarchy starting from the root SSD drive. Photo Mechanic has this feature where you can drag favorite folders to the left column and access them with one click. Capture One collapse the folder hierarchy every time you close which is really annoying when you have different drives attached. I have to spend a minute hitting all those triangles to dig into the folder hierarchy to open specific directories such as the one on the desktop.
Why doesn't C1 Pro remember your last directory settings?0
