Downloading NEFs

I have tried and i have tried to make C1 Pro download Nefs from my Nikon D70s over and over again. Not sure what i am doing wrong. Seems like the software is not recognizing my camera. I have to keep ACDSee Pro on my computer just for this reason alone. It may help to mention that i have iVew Media Pro also. Please help.

  Sorry to bump this again, but its been a few days since i posted the original post. Can C1 Pro download raw images from the camera directly, like Nikon View or ACDSee Pro can? Or do i need a card reader for it to be able to do this?

  Not clear if you are attempting to Tether into Capture One or just download.
  
  Currently only Phase One Digital Backs and Canon EOS DSLRs will tether directly into Capture One PRO.
  
  To download files from camera, you will have to use the Nikon software.
