Read only Jpegs?
I am working with a C1 catalog and I imported some jpeg files, but they are read only.
1. The "Enable JPEG editing" is checked in preferences
2. I checked the files in Mac OS and it says I have read & write permissions
Other factors possibly are that I recently moved the catalog and files from one internal drive to another. I had to re-link the folders for C1 to read the files, but the RAWS are fine. This was before I imported the jpegs. I also upgraded to 8.3.3 just before I imported these jpegs.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I too have some images for which I cannot apply adjustments, and for which I cannot change any Metadata - not keywords not color label, nothing can be changed.
All of these images have a badge applied that looks like a crossed out pencil.
I haven't had a chance to check thoroughly, but I notice many of them are 480x640 or 640x480. Possibly all of them.0 -
Hi,
Yeah, I've been through this too, and I opened a case with Phase One. They responded and told me that you can't edit JPGs that are less than 600 x 600. I also had a bunch of black-and-white scanned jpgs that came out read-only. Phase One said grayscale scans aren't editable; RBG scans are.
Hope that helps.0
