Decimals in Color Editor

Hello PhaseOne team,

Is it necessary to have THREE digits after the decimal point in the color editor? Wouldn't one or two suffice? Every time I try highlight the decimal point along with the decimal digits to make the value a whole number, the last digit does not get selected because it's outside the text box. So when I hit delete followed by enter, I get the annoying pop-up that tells me the number is out of range, because I'm ending up with something like 659.

Example:

I drag the Hue slider to a certain value - it shows 68.29 in the box. I want to make it 68 for example. I highlight .29 and hit delete then enter, and get that error pop-up, because the slider value was actually 68.295.

Can we please have it changed back to whole numbers like it was in CO 9? Or at least limit it to just one decimal digit?

    This is a user-to-user forum. If you want the Phase One team to look at this issue and perhaps change the behaviour, you ought to raise a support case. (Go to Contact Support near the bottom of this page .)

    at least with Lab numbers integer precision (think Adobe's ACR) is clearly not enough... two digits ".xx" (think Iridient) is overkill and one digit ".x" (think RPP) is a very good solution... consider dE-anyformula (94, 2K, whatever) precision to understand why ".x" is optimal and integer (not enough) or ".xx" (overkill) are not ... Adobe clearly tried to plug Lab display in place of their long standing RGB display fields to minimize UI changes (codewise)...

    Honestly, I was perfectly happy with integer precision the way it was in CO 9. But yeah I agree, one digit after the decimal point would be ideal.
