Opening DNGs that have been altered in ACR

I can load a DNG in Adobe Camera Raw and make changes not available in C1 and save it back as a DNG but when I open it in C1 the changes disappear! Is there any way to either 1) make C1 see the changes or 2) save it in a specific way in ACR that C1 will interpret correctly.

    how do you think the developers in Phase One will know what exactly developers in Adobe do to interpret for example the sharpness parameters that you used in ACR ? they can extract for example values 150/0.5/50/25 from DNG tags and then what they are supposed to do with these 4 numbers ? the only more or less possible way is how for example DxO is used - they (DxO) generate a linear DNG file that can be opened in a raw converter like ACR and because all changes are baked into demosaiced data ACR can start working from where DxO ended.
