I don't think so. I had a look in the output capture one folder and it contains two more folders. A cache, and settings50 folders. I always thought once you output to a file format (except DNG) all the adjustments, metadata were embedded in the file. I only ever move and/or use the files. I leave the capture one folder in the output folder. Hope somebody can explain this folder and its use.

It's no use, it has been stated some months ago that it was a bug from C1 and that it should be corrected in an upcoming release…
You may delete it, but each time you'll open that session, C1 will recreate this folder.

Except with "eip" and DNG formats (but in both case only C1 will be able to recognize your adjustments), nothing is embedded with C1 "system".
All your adjustment are located in the Capture One subfolder located in the same directory (folder) than your original raw file.

If you open the folder holding the processed files in Capture One, the program will think that you want to then work on them as JPGs or Tiffs (something I will do at times). Just like any folder opened, Capture One will then begin to create the previews (proxies) along with the settings folder.

Just use some other file manger to move or copy your files.

Very tardy of me not to thank you all for your responses, very helpful as I now only move selected images from the output folder for external storage and not the capture one folder, all is working well.
