I can not download this, it downloads as a 1kb corrupt file.
    Anyone else care to test?

Something is not right with this image. Capture One will as you say not read it in 3.7 which supports 350D.
Adobe Camera RAW 3.1 will not either which aslo support 350D
    But DPP 1.6.1 will.

Try doing a test and snap away a image and import it directly to capture one.

    This issue can be concluded.
This 350D you have has a model 4 designation. Previous with the 300D there was 3 models depending on which market it was sold on. They where called 300D, Rebel and Kiss
350D exist as 350D, Rebel XT and Kiss XT I believe.
The question is what your camera say?
We will ofcourse fix this (I believe ACR might do this as well) DPP works but they have inside information 😉 I will hopefully know soon if it makes version 3.7.1

This camera I just boght few days ago from my friend, it's model is plain EOS 350D. Interesting thing is that my friend told me just now, that before selling camera to me he took it to service to clean viewfinder and sensor (where they can do it with some special means), and he noticed it too that RAW afterwards was not read by C1 software, but before it did!

So it turns out this is not fault of C1... But what could have camera cleaning caused for RAW not to be recognisable by C1?.. Or should I worry that when the camera was left with service, there, someone took an advanatge of it and ripped/exchanged some hardware part in it?! (hmm... perhaps this sounds paranoid) So I probably should contact Canon and to see what can they say about it, and hopefully get a solution...

Thank you UlfLiljegren for your help! 😊

I have now a confirmation that this version 4 of 350D will be supported in Capture One 3.7.1 😄

That is interesting, so this really a good RAW file... my friend have compared chasis number written to images before taking camera to service, with photos I have taken now, and it's the same, so the camera body was not exchanged in service, but now it turns to be another version still... I don't understand this, should I be happy or worry. I hope that, if not an upgrade, then at least it's not a downgrade (that was a service at authorized Canon dealer though..)... Cannot wait for C1 3.7.1 😊

We don't have information on what has happend, the only thing we know is that the embedded file identification says this is a 350D version 4 which we have never come across before.
It seems we will be the first one to accept this file out side of canons own software. That's not bad now is it 😉
