Canon 30D Support

I just upgraded my Canon digital rebel(300d) to a new Canon 30D. I have the Capture One LE trial edition and used it a couple times with my 300d and liked it. Was going to purchase the LE Edition for use with my new 30d, but my .CR2 files are not being recognized by Capture One LE 3.7.3

The Phase One website lists the 30D as being supported, but I have a feeling this may have been the result of some D30 & 30D confusion, because it appears after the D60 and the D30 does not appear at all. According to the order I would have expected to see it between the 5D and 20D. Here is where I looked: http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Softwar ... pport.aspx

Is there an approximate time scale for when 30D support will be available?

    As the website states we support D30, but not 30D...yet.
    Note that the two cameras are very different cameras.

    D30:

    I have no official information but it would surprise me if 30D support was not implemented in Capture One 3.7.4

    Looked again at the page and noticed. The 30D is listed under the, \"cameras SUPPORTED (TETHERED) IN Version 3.7.3 and later:\" section;

    Capture One PRO:

    Canon 1Ds MKII / 1D MKII / 1D MKII N / 1Ds / 1D / 5D / 20D / 10D / 300D /

    350D/ D60 / 30D

    but in the same place in the \"RAW FILE Support IN Version 3.7.3 and Later:\" section it is the D30;

    Capture One PRO & LE:

    Canon 1Ds MKII / 1D MKII / 1D MKII N /1Ds / 1D / 5D / 20D / 10D / 300D /

    350D / D60 / D30 / Pro 1 / G6 / G5 / G3 / G2

    I will make sure that marketing dept know the difference between a D30 and 30D so they can fix that. 😉

    When is Capture One 3.7.4 scheduled to be released? Or is there approximate date? Does it usually take days, weeks, or months for new cameras to be supported? Just curious.

    I searched the forum but came up blank...

    I'd like to purchase a Canon 30D but can't do so until Capture one is updated to support the camera as I want to use the workflow that I've grown accustomed to.

    UPDATE: I continued searching and came across a post where it was stated that \"v 3.7.4 is due 2Q 2006.\"
