If you used Lightroom for raw processing instead of Capture One presumably you might round-trip to Photoshop (perhaps to take advantage of the greater cloning possibilities) just as you can do from Capture One. But what is it you want to do in Lightroom? Tell us that and we might have some ideas about how to do it.

    Hello

    Thanks for answer !

First I came to C11 because I use phase one backs ( and a DF+ is on its way too). So I guess that RAW treatment in C11 is better for my photos. lens correction is also another parameter to use C11 first...

I am still beginner in C11 and I don't want to create a layer each time I do a correction ( spots removals, even bigger things removal...) . When I will be a better user of C11, then ok.

I have a standalone license of lightroom and thus no photoshop.

Another issue for me is that I have a library of presets in lightroom. But I guess that I could do that in final treatment...

You don’t need a layer every time you do spot removal. (But you do need one for removing the bigger things.) See This is based on an earlier version of C1, but the principle of this is the same.

The only way to get the adjustments made on a RAW file in Capture One into Lightroom is to export as TIFF (or another file type), and then import that into Lightroom and continue working on the TIFF there. This is essentially what you would be doing if you we're going back and forth from CO11 to Photoshop as well. Once you leave either Capture One or Lightroom you are leaving the raw file behind (except for LR --> PS 'open as smart object', but even that is then saved as a TIFF file).

In Capture One right click on an image you want to send to Lightroom, select 'Edit With...' and in the dialog box that opens go to 'Open With' and set that to Lightroom (you may have to select it manually from the other option). Then Click 'Edit Variant'. Lightroom should open with its import dialog and you can import the TIFF and work on it there.

If you want to take the work back to CO11 you'll have to export it from Lightroom as a new TIFF (now you will have 2 TIFF's), once exported it should appear in the CO11 browser with the adjustments. There might be a way to not have to export a second TIFF but Lightroom did not give me the option to overwrite the original TIFF.
