Capture using a Canon 350D

I have recently downloaded the trial version prior to purchase and am connecting from my PC to the Canon 350D via USB
The software tells me the camera is connected, but when taking pictures, nothing is received into the capture folder.

Camera is set onto PC Comms mode as if set to PTP, it goes into permanent "busy" mode.
All settings in software are default.

Connetion works ok with Canon Capture software, but am wanting to move away from that

Please let me know what I need to change

  this should work...Be sure you have the most current Drivers installed from Canon site.
  Set to shoot RAW only.
  If working with Canon program, most certainly should work with Capture One PRO.
