Levels Tool -> Adjust Luma only

    You could use the curves tool, on the Luma option, and pull the bottom right point to the left (straight along the bottom line) and the top right point to the left (straight along the top line).

    It's not possible to set the Levels tool to work on Luma only

    But you can cheat as I have suggested using the Curves tool, can't you?

    you can achieve the wanted effect with the curve tool. Would just have been nice to get the same result with the Levels-tool. But not big of an issue... i will just continue to use the curve tool if I do not want the colors to get saturated.

    Or use the levels tool, and pull the saturation back a bit.

    Yep! No problem there. Just not available in the Levels tool
