Levels Tool -> Adjust Luma only
Hi there,
lets say I have an image where the histogram is far from touching the left and the right border and I want to correct it. Normally I do use the levels tool, but this also seems to affect the color of the image (creating more saturation).
If I use the Curve-Tool Luma-Tab and correct the image the same way as with the levels tool, then the Colors stay correct.
Does anyone know if i can set the Levels tool to "Luma-Mode" so that it does not affect the colors?
Regards
Manuel

You could use the curves tool, on the Luma option, and pull the bottom right point to the left (straight along the bottom line) and the top right point to the left (straight along the top line).

It's not possible to set the Levels tool to work on Luma only 0 -

But you can cheat as I have suggested using the Curves tool, can't you?

you can achieve the wanted effect with the curve tool. Would just have been nice to get the same result with the Levels-tool. But not big of an issue... i will just continue to use the curve tool if I do not want the colors to get saturated. 0 -

Or use the levels tool, and pull the saturation back a bit.
